"What's the best diet?"

With so many options of which diets to follow these days, I know it can get overwhelming trying to figure out which one is best and will get you the results you want. Keto, intermittent fasting, paleo, plant-based, high carb, low carb — the list goes on. What do I think the best diet is?⁣

It depends. (I know, boring answer, sorry.🤷🏻‍♀️)⁣

Bottom line is that whatever works best for one person might not work for another. Each diet will have its pros and cons, and when done effectively, each follow the general recommendation of choosing whole, minimally processed, nutrient-rich foods, which obviously gets two thumbs up. 👍🏽👍🏽⁣

But based on my own experiences and what I’ve learned along the way, I simply encourage this:⁣

👉🏽Find something that you can follow long-term. Something that takes into account life’s demands like family, work, stress levels, budget, time availability, social commitments, etc. Something that helps you live a balanced and sane life, and can follow even on your worst days. What that looks like for one person might not be exactly the same for another, but the general approach is clear:⁣

💥Building small habits intelligently over time can lead to big results💥⁣

It doesn’t have to be macro tracking and logging everything into MyFitnessPal (unless you want it to be). It doesn’t mean counting calories or totally restricting yourself from certain foods either. More to come on what this could look like for you. Just know that it probably WON’T be something that’ll give you a “quick fix.”
